Unlike anything else in the dance music world, Beats Antique stand alone. Formed in 2007 by David Satori, Tommy Cappel and Zoe Jakes, the group fuses old styles of global beats with electronic dance music. As if the electro-acoustic gypsy hip-hop trio could top their already hypnotic genre-warping rhythms, this week’s release of their new single “Beelzebub” features iconic Primus singer and bassist Les Claypool. The track is a strangely masterful amalgam of epic proportions, boasting a pulsating and sinister energy.  The release is a perfect prelude to their forthcoming album, A Thousand Faces- Act I, which will be released on Oct. 15.
