Music Monday: OneRepublic to Play O’Connell Center

It’s advertised on buses. It’s been all over Facebook, and it’s a sold out concert. Colorado pop rock band OneRepublic  is making its way to the University of Florida this Thursday, Oct. 10. Tickets were free for students and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. in the O’Connell Center. If you were lucky enough to get a ticket, here is a little refresher of OneRepublic’s success through the ages:

2007:

Apologize: Timbaland featuring OneRepublic

“Apologize” was OneRepublic’s breakout single in 2007. The song quickly gained popularity and turned out to have the highest number of digital downloads of any song at that time. The song was not only a hit in the United States and North America, but also in 16 countries around the world.

Stop and Stare

“Stop and Stare” was OneRepublic’s second single. It also gained world success and has more than two million digital downloads.

2008:

Say (All I Need)

Released in 2008, this song was also a hit from their album Dreaming Out Loud.

2010:

Good Life

This was the third single from the album Waking Up. The single was certified as a multi-platinum and also thrived globally.
